Task Force Eagle-Tuzla Main Air Base-Bosnia / by Joseph Routh

In Respect and Honor of a Great American, Richard G. Lugar. He served as a United States Senator from Indiana, 1977 to 2013. I had the honor to meet and have dinner with Sen. Lugar while deployed to the Balkans Operation. Brigadier General Wright offered me the opportunity to create an art piece for the dignitary visit. I compiled the piece with drawings of architecture of the region (Tuzla and Capital City Sarajevo). The art was presented to Sen. Lugar - Respecfully From The Soldiers Of Eagle Base, Bosnia. At my surprise Sen. Lugar, In turn, gifted me with a painting of the White House, signed with a Thank You of Service.

Former United States Senator Richard G. Lugar, Born April 4, 1932, passed away April 28, 2019.

His funeral is scheduled for May 15.

Farewell to a great person and leader, an American.

I Thank You For Your Service To Our Country As Well.
